The GJB 150.5-86 standard specifies the impact test method of the thermal shock test chamber, which is the basis and selection basis for formulating corresponding parts of technical documents such as military equipment technical conditions or product standards.
The provisions of GJB 150.1-86 "General Principles of Environmental Test Methods for Military Equipment" are applicable to this standard.
This standard applies to military equipment (such as aircraft cabin equipment that does not control temperature, airdrops, and air transport equipment) that may encounter sudden temperature changes.

This standard does not apply to military equipment that has been heated by warm air and solar radiation and then immersed in cold water to withstand temperature shocks or temperature shocks caused by rapid transients of gas from engines and compressors.
The thermal shock test box is mainly used for the adaptability test of electronic and electrical products, their original components, and other materials in storage, transportation, and use in an environment with rapid temperature changes. The equipment mainly conducts environmental simulation tests on the physical and other related characteristics of the product by placing the test materials under the conditions of instantaneous changes in high temperature and low temperature. After the test, the product is tested to determine whether the performance of the product meets the requirements.
